Siri is yet another system capability taking advantage of the significant improvements in iOS 18 centered around App Intents and Apple Intelligence. Some capabilities are free, such as using Siri to run your app’s shortcuts, while others require minimal code additions, such as hooking in your intents to Apple Intelligence via the Assistant Schema API.
The groundwork demonstrated in this lesson allows the introduction of a few more user-experienced updates, which you’ll learn about in the next lesson.
