About the Editors
Martyn Haigh is the tech editor of this book. Martyn is a seasoned software engineer, currently working at Meta. He started hacking on Android way before it was cool, and has the scars to prove it. When not working he loves coffee, traveling without a plan, snowboarding, good food and his gorgeous family.
Emily Wydeven is the editor of this book. Emily is an avid scavenger of typos and grammatical errors. She has worked extensively in the tech industry and was managing editor of an online tech magazine for several years. She is a nerd for technology, cats, medical history, and comic books (among many other things). While her favorite comic book characters are Deadpool and Squirrel Girl, the character with whom Emily most closely identifies is Nancy Whitehead.
Victoria Gonda is the final pass editor for this book. They are a software engineer who primarily works with Android. After having studied both dance production and computer science, they focused their career on software because of its potential to help people in a meaningful way. This is visible in their passion for accessibility. In their spare time, Victoria enjoys playing board games and curling up with a good book. You can connect with them on Twitter at @TTGonda.
