Announcing our Flutter Fall Event — Featuring Flutter Apprentice!
5 mins
One of the values that drives what we do at raywenderlich.com is that “Teamwork helps you dream bigger.”
From the over 2,000+ free tutorials we’ve published, to the free video courses available to help you build your first iOS or Android app, we’ve teamed up with developers and industry leaders around the world to help as many people as possible take their first steps into the mobile development world, and get that first (or next!) great position as a mobile developer.
So that’s why we’re incredibly excited to announce that we’re partnering with the Flutter team at Google, to give you access to our book, Flutter Apprentice, free for the next three months!
And that’s not all — the Flutter team is also working hard to provide you with a series of events to help you work through the Flutter, including a weekly book club, and much, much more.
Read on to get all the details about our Flutter Fall Event, and how you can take advantage of this opportunity!
What is the Flutter Fall Event?
raywenderlich.com is partnering with the Flutter team at Google to provide you with free and complete access to the best book to learn Flutter development – Flutter Apprentice!
From Oct 6, 2021 to January 6, 2022, you can read this special edition of Flutter Apprentice through our online reader, where you’ll get access to the complete book (including a new bonus chapter on Working With Firebase Cloud Firestore), along with the complete source code for all projects in the book.
The Flutter Team at Google is also supporting your Flutter learning through an online book club hosted by Flutter experts, along with other events the Flutter team has planned throughout the three-month promotion.
We believe that Flutter is truly one of the best new frameworks out there, and that’s why we want to invite as many people as we can to experience the joy of Flutter on their own. There’s simply never been a better time to gain some in-demand Flutter development skills.
Who Can Participate?
To be sure that we reach as many people as we can, this event is 100% free to everyone. All you need to participate is a raywenderlich.com account!
The book will be available through our online reader, and you’ll have full and complete access to the project source code included with the book.
You can build your Flutter projects in either Xcode or Android Studio, so you can always learn in the IDE that’s most familiar to you.

Is There an Official Book Club?
There is! As a collaboration between the Flutter Community YouTube channel, Flutteristas, and other prominent leaders in the Flutter community, there’s a live weekly book club, where you’ll be assigned readings and you can watch as others work through the projects in the book.
You can get your Flutter fix every Wednesday at 12pm EST / 9am PST on the Flutter Community YouTube channel.
